Privacy Policy

  1. This privacy policy, together with the end-user licence agreement (EULA), apply to your use as the User of the Mr Glue Stories App, Website and Digital Content. Mr Glue Stories is a storytelling app primarily for children under 13 years old. This Privacy Policy complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regarding the online collection of personal information from children under 13 years old and when and how to seek verifiable consent from a parent.
  2. This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is Chadlington ABC Enterprises Limited of 117 Arlington Road, London NW1 7ET. Capitalised terms used in this privacy policy but not defined herein shall have the meanings given to them in the EULA.
  3. Information we may collect from you We may collect and process the following Data about you through the App, website or through third parties:
    1.    Submitted Information: User Generated Content and any information that you provide by filling in forms on the App, including the telephone number of the device on which you download the App. This also includes information provided at the time of registering to use the App, submitting material, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our App.
    2.    Additional information: if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also collect and process details of your use of the App including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access.
    3.    Device information: we may collect information about the device you use to download the App or any computer you may use to download or stream a copy of the App onto that device, including, where available, the device’s or computer’s unique device identifiers, operating system, browser type and mobile network information as well as the device’s telephone number, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers
    4.    Log information: when you view content on the App, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server logs, including but not limited to internet protocol addresses, URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier), internet service provider, clickstream data, browser type and language, viewed and exit pages and date or time stamps.

    We will limit our collection of personal information from children to no more than is reasonably necessary in order for us to carry out the activities referred to in paragraph 6 below.

    Failure to provide certain Personal Data may make it impossible for this App to provide its services to you.  You assume responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through this App and declare that you have the right to communicate or broadcast them, thus relieving the Data Controller of all responsibility.

  4. Information collected using cookies and analytics are used to be able to provide the services of the App to you as well as to improve the services of the App, Website or Digital Content:

  5. How we process your data The Data Controller processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.
  6. Where we store your personal data The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our partners. These staff may be engaged in the fulfilment of your request, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of the App, Website or Digital Content, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the App; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
  7. How long we keep your data for The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by you, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and you can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.
  8. Uses made of the information We may use information held about you in order to produce the Digital Content and to operate the App, as well as use analytics to improve the App. We will never sell your information to third parties.
  9. Disclosure of your information We may disclose your personal information to third parties: (i) in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; (ii) if Chadlington ABC Enterprises Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers may be one of the transferred assets; (iii) if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request; (iv) in order to enforce or apply the EULA or to investigate potential breaches; or (v) to protect the rights, property or safety of Chadlington ABC Enterprises Limited, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  10. Your rights You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.   11. Changes to this privacy policy As the Data Controller we reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to you as the User on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this App and can request that the Data Controller erase the Personal Data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users.
  12. Access to information The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you (or your parent, if you are a child) the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with that Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
  13. Notice to European Users: this privacy statement has been prepared in fulfilment of the obligations under Art. 10 of EC Directive n. 95/46/EC, and under the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as revised by Directive 2009/136/EC, on the subject of Cookies.  This privacy policy relates to the App, Website and Digital Content.
